Quinta da Folgorosa Late Harvest 2019

Late harvest, elegant and distinguished. Its elegance doesn’t overlap the surprise aroma. Intense Ambar colour, this late harvest presents ripe fruit aromas, such as plum, raisins and lemon. Elegant, fresh and mineral. With a wood-smoky finishing touch. Pairing with fish, sushi and deserts dishes or by itself. This late harvest has the peculiarity of having high acidity, not obstructing its natural sweetness characteristic of late harvests.

We carry out the harvest on two different days, November 18th and 25th. It aged for 9 months in French oak barrels, carrying out batonnage during the first three months.

Climate under a strong Atlantic influence, providing fresh summers, pleasing winters, high frequency of fogs and high humidity all year. All of these factors provide a particular microclimate to our vineyards. Clay-limestone soils. An altitude of 200-300 meters above sea level.
